About Rude Engineering

Rude Engineering is run by Ross Buckingham. Ross has a wealth of experience with both preparing and driving racing cars, high performance and classic road cars. Ten years working for MoTeC in Australia and Europe has included working with top level race series including Le Mans Prototypes, V8 Supercars and FIA GT as well as racing power boats, off road racing and rally cars. Ross also has extensive knowledge of Weber, SU and Holley carburettors as well as historic mechanical and electronic fuel injection systems gained through years of dyno tuning and racing. In addition to technical expertise Ross has spent many years driving racing cars including Formula Ford, Mini Miglia, British GT and successfully competed in many endurance races including Nurburgring 24 hours and class wins at Bathurst in both 24 and 12 hour races. The aim of Rude Engineering is to provide a no nonsense approach to getting the best performance and reliability from your engine so that you can go out and win races. Our extensive experience allows us to provide services and components you can rely on as well as the ability to provide solutions that work.
